Marty initially studied at the American School for Artists & Students in Paris, France. Then at the Alberta College of Art & Design in Canada. His artwork has been exhibited in Canada and Internationally consistently over the years and is in many public and private collections.The artwork is focused on illustrating the transitory experience of being in the moment that is combined with an awareness of the significant connections between oneself and the greater human collective. Marty seeks to make visually apparent the intangible element of this experience. Marty is an Associate Professor at Auarts Calgary.
