Deseré Pressey is a Calgary-based visual artist whose instinctual, layered paintings explore transformation, healing, and the beauty that emerges through rupture. Her BREAK+BLOOM collection reflects the tender, often unruly process of becoming. Through Sound+SOMA, her current practice expands beyond the canvas to weave immersive sound, ritual, and embodied experience. Deseré is also a counselling student pursuing studies in spiritual and art therapy. Her work is collected locally and internationally and has been included in the Imago Mundi, Biennale di Venezia collection and the Fairmont Banff Springs private collection. She was also awarded an artist residency at Château Orquevaux in France.
